It seemed much more natural and were much more predictable. In LFS, it seemed to be a happy medium between AC with SC on and AC with SC off. In LFS I couldn't find any stability control settings (the game is old enough and the cars are modeled after old enough stuff I dont think it incorporated it) but I did turn traction control off.
LIVE FOR SPEED DRIFT MOD SIMULATOR
Now I mentioned Live For Speed in the title because that was the simulator I was playing before AC and after being frustrated with AC today decided to fire it up and compare the 2. But most of the time that translates to the car coming back the direction I want it to, only to keep going and send my backwards into the wall.

The only thing I've found that works is quicker inputs and somewhat anticipating whats going to happen and counter steering early. I've tried different throttle inputs, braking, and just steering when the car starts to loose it and nothing seems to have a major impact. Even more so if accelerating out of a corner and the car seems to want to snap oversteer in the opposite direction even with steering in the direction I want to go. If coming into a corner and either trail brake or just brake late and the car starts to come around, there seems to be no saving it. So then I turn off stability control and all hell breaks lose. If coming out of a corner or braking into a corner the car starts to over rotate its a simple steering angle input adjustment and the car goes in the direction I want it to.

I can do just fine with traction control off. Well I'm having a similar issue, but I'm NOT trying to drift, just race. The following is pertaining to a rwd car.Īs a few other people have mentioned, they are having problems trying to drift with stability control off. Hey everyone, so I've got a question about stability control in Assetto Corsa that I couldnt seem to find an answer to.
